We offer both private and group lessons, beginner to advanced - basic riding, teaching your horse to be more "handy", having a calmer, non-spooky horse on the trail, learning to compete in...mounted shooting, barrel racing, pole bending, gymkhanas, and working ranch horse. Your instructor, Daria, is a champion in all the above mentioned disciplines and has experience in cutting. Through the years, Daria has developed a unique way of teaching, which builds both the rider and the horse's confidence. Students are amazed at how quickly they advance! Many students were scared to walk and in less than 10 lessons were loping and riding down the trail with confidence! See testimonials page.....and you are welcome to call for references.
Lessons are as follows: (2 hour minimum on all lessons)
$30.00/hour - group lesson on your horse $60.00/hour on our horse
$60.00/hour - private lesson on your horse $80.00/hour on our horse
Ride in both the arena and on the trails - on thousands of acres in the breathtaking Galiuros Mountains amongst grazing catte - cross water on the San Pedro River right out our back gate- no busy roads to cross! Ride in the wash, the mountains, and on lovely sandy trails where you can go at a fast gallop, teaching your horse to do flying lead changes without even realizing it!
Lesson Packages Available - discounts for paying in advance for 10 lessons (2 hrs. each) with a weekly or bi-weekly appointment. Stipulation: If you cancel an appt. you must reschedule that week when Daria is available or loose the money for that lesson.
Daria will ride your horse during a lesson for an additional fee. Some students with new horses or horses with behavioral problems have Daria do the loping pattern, or desensitize their horse during a lesson.
Daria is available for clinics both at the ranch or other locations. Clinics can be group lessons at your location or for example...a Mounted Shooting, Barrel Racing, or Pole Bending Clinic.
